Award winning actor Toby Richards decided to pursue his interest in the television and film industry after several years as a sucessful businessman. He appeared alongside Craig Fairbrass and Kierston Wareing in Julian Gilbey’s "Rise of the Footsoldier" which is now one of the best selling British independent DVD’s of all time, Jake West's comedy horror "Doghouse" alongside Danny Dyer and BAFTA award winner Noel Clarke and, most recently, Nick Moran's feature "The Kid" with Rupert Friend. In early 2009, Toby took on the challenging, emotional role of Joe in William Gilbey's "Father's Day" opposite "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Kevin R McNally. His powerful, haunting performance earned him the Best Actor award at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival in December 2009.

“Father’s Day” was nominated for 9 awards at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival and won three: Best Narrative Short, Best Screenplay and Toby also picked up the Best Actor award. Toby plays the leading role of Joe in this powerful short film which explores the lengths a man will go to shield himself from grief. Kevin R McNally *”Pirates of the Caribbean”) also stars.

The team are BAFTA nominated, award winning filmmakers and the company’s first venture, Julian Gilbey’s chase thriller “The Grave at Angel’s Peak” begins shooting this spring with Melissa George in the lead role.
